Are Fikes products for business use only?
No. Fikes products were originally developed for commercial use currently all of our odor control and janitorial supplies are available for your home as well. You can order securely online or contact us toll free at 1-800-24Fikes.
How does the Fikes air freshener system differ from other retail products I’ve tried that haven’t worked?
Our products are very different for the store bought sprays or plug in’s. Our unique odor control products contain a patented product called Metazene®. Metazene® is able to inhibit odors at the molecular level without masking them. The simplified [Flash] animation below demonstrates how Metazene® works to neutralize airborne odors.
Are Fikes Odor Control Products Safe?
Absolutely. No burning candles, plug in’s requiring electrical sources or particles being sprayed into the air…the Fikes line of products contains extremely low VOC’s (Volatile Organic Components) and we are proud to say that the majority of our products have the Green by Enviro-Kleen Registration considered to be the first “All Green” Air Fresheners in the industry. How Important is our sense of smell in our everyday lives?
Whether for home or business use, scents make a significant impact on our impressions and decision making. Martin Lindstrom the author of the book “Brand Sense” writes: “75 percent of all the emotions we generate every day are due to what we smell—not see,"
However, he goes on to say that 83 percent of all commercial communication we are exposed to every day is designed to appeal to just our eyes. Although subliminal in many cases, our sense of smell creates powerful impressions of our overall perception of our surroundings.
Do you recommend changing to different scents regularly or keeping the same fragrance?
This depends on you. The scents you choose are up to you and based on your particular preference and application. If you absolutely love a scent and don’t want to change, that is understandable. However, to avoid being accustomed to one scent all of the time we often encourage customers to occasionally rotate fragrances. We often find that after an exteneded period of use, customers report not “noticing” the scent they so enjoyed as when they first received it. This isn’t because the scent is wearing out or not working but that our systems acclimate or “get used to” the scent and a change is often a nice way to keep enjoying the postivie emotion and sense of a new smell. With new products being developed all the time there might be something you like just as much or more in addition to giving your sense of smell something else to think about.

How much is shipping and when can I expect my products once I order?
Depending upon where you are located most orders take 3 to 7 business days to arrive via ground shipping. We also have Overnight, 2nd Day, and 3 Day shipping available for an additional fee. Standard shipping rates apply.
